Hill Rosin Dark
Hill rosin, dark
Hill rosin offers options for violin, viola and cello. Originating from the renowned Hill workshops in England, this is one of the most recognised rosins worldwide.
Presented in a foam cloth cover – the Hill Light (beige cover) and Hill Dark (green cover) are equally suited to violin, viola or cello.
Dark rosins are generally stickier than light rosins and often preferred by violists and cellists. They can also be advantageous for violinists in winter due to their softness. Dark rosins can be described as more gritty than light rosins, and some players find darker rosin allows their bow to maintain more contact when playing ‘into the string’.
