W. E. Hill and Sons was established in London in 1880 and became one of the most revered fine instrument traders and violin and bow-making firms in the world. According to Henley, “As bow makers they are universally acknowledged as pre-eminent.” Their bows are made from naturally seasoned pernambuco with fine attention to detail and exhibit “elasticity, strength and perfect balance.”

This bow features an exquisite round pernambuco stick with gold mounted ebony frog and weighs 61 gm.
