This best selling cello performs well above its price-point and never fails to impress!

The Gabrielli Prelude cello is carved from solid tonewoods, the back of two pieces of lightly flamed maple with similar sides and head, the top of good even grained spruce. The varnish is of a nice warm brown, applied in a subtle shaded pattern.  It is fitted to our Etude Set-up with D’Addario Kaplan strings (Helicore for fractional sizes), a fine tuner tailpiece and has a heavy duty padded bag and brazilwood bow.

The combination of build quality, good set-up and D’Addario strings give the cello a good strong tone with ample volume and carrying power. This is a great entry level cello that will last the student for many years.
