A lovely European cello made from locally procured timbers on a ‘Forma B’ Stradivari model which is comfortably sized and, with our Master Set-up, offers a really special tone quality which is evenly balanced and projects well.

Slovakia is one of the countries in Europe where fine quality violin tone woods grow naturally and the Jan Kubek workshop at Bratislava is spoiled for choice.  The company combines instrument making with milling of fine quality timber and the production of beautiful fittings (pegs and tailpieces etc.) for violins, violas and cellos. These cellos are brought to us un-fitted and the whole fitting-up process is done here in our Melbourne workshop.
