KG 200 cellos are a step above the industry leading #100 model, being a little more refined in construction and having the same clear, balanced tone and quick response but with perhaps a little more volume and projection, making them ideal for the keen beginner or ambitious intermediate level student cellists.

One of the very popular KG range of instruments, the KG200 cello is handmade in China using fine, flamed maple and spruce. The workshop, situated just outside Beijing, is a hive of industry with a nice mix of both male and female staff employed in the hand production of these terrific instruments.

Our normal Master Set-up on this instrument is aimed at achieving the optimum in sound and playability. To achieve this, more refined adjustments, upgraded fittings and professional qualityLarsen strings are used. It has a warm orange-brown varnish with light shading, over a light gold ground. It comes with a semi-hard carrying case.
