The IES1 has a rotating head, allowing you to easily switch between portrait or landscape orientation and protective grips to prevent scratches. It is designed to allow full access to the entire screen and power button and has a wire pass-through for charging the device while mounted.  The tablet can be rotated without removing it from the mount plate and then can be locked into its new position. This allows for flexibility during a recording while maintaining secure and consistent position.
