Spirocore strings are widely recognized as a reference standard, renowned for their playability and distinctive full dark voluminous tone.

The hi-tech core makes for effortless fingering, responsive bowing, stable tuning and a very long string life.  When new the tungsten wound Spirocore strings may have a metallic edge to the sound.  Play-in time can be up to 2 weeks.

This spiral steel core has greater elasticity than that of conventional strings allowing the tone to ring  with either pizzicato or bowed notes.  The small diameter of the tungsten C string is also very comfortable under the fingers.

This C string is made with a flexible spiral steel core wound with tungsten.
