The Wittner Space Age chin rest is one of our most popular chin rests. It is lightweight; which is advantage for the player's comfort, but also for the instrument's resonance. It is smooth and flat, making it very comfortable and allowing for a large range of chin placement. Even the side model allows plenty of room over the tailpiece for a more central position; and the over-the-tailpiece model allows for a really central placement of the chin.
It is also designed for those who have an allergy or irritation to metal fittings.
