J. F. Daber French Violin Bow, c.1990
A French violin bow by the J. F. Daber company which comprises a round pernambuco stick with silver mounted ebony frog which is decorated with Parisian eyes; the adjuster of ebony fully sheathed in silver.
A perfectly balanced bow which feels light in the hand, it performs beautiful dynamics contrasts. It is excellent for delicate playing as it produces a top quality sound for 'piano'; it is, however, a very strong stick that will perform 'spiccato volante' with great clarity also outstanding clarity and articulation for 'detache'
