German Cello Bow, Markneukirchen School c.1910

A dark chocolate coloured octagonal Pernambuco stick with the sort of flawless, coal black ebony in the frog that is so rare these days. A responsive bow that makes light work of the most difficult bowings.

Typical of the large output of unstamped bows produced in a range suited to players of all levels by several of the master bow making workshops in Markneukirchen and destined to be sent all over the world to violin dealers eager to buy in good quality stock for their customers.
